The right vessel depends on three things: where you want to cruise, how many guests are travelling, and the pace you have in mind. Fully crewed motor yachts offer the speed and range to link several islands in a single week, with the deck space, tenders and water toys that suit larger parties. Sailing catamarans are stable, generously wide and draw very little water, which opens anchorages across the Caribbean and Thailand that deeper keels must pass by. Power catamarans sit between the two, pairing catamaran space with motor yacht pace.

For a slower, more characterful voyage we arrange crewed gulets and traditional sailing yachts along the Turkish and Greek coasts, where wooden hulls, home cooking and short daily passages set the rhythm. We keep our fleet deliberately focused rather than endlessly long, so every yacht we propose has been personally vetted and every crew is known to us.

Charter fees are quoted per week and per yacht, never per person, and they include the yacht itself, its full crew and the use of everything on board. Running costs are handled separately through the Advance Provisioning Allowance, or APA, which typically sits between 25 and 35 per cent of the charter fee and covers food, drinks, fuel, moorings and any shore arrangements. Whatever is not spent is returned to you against receipts at the end of the voyage.

Depending on the region, the yacht's flag and your dates, VAT and delivery fees may also apply. We set out the complete cost of your charter in writing before you commit to anything, and we are happy to explain each line of it. There are no hidden commissions and no pressure to book — only the yacht, the crew and the itinerary you have chosen.

The Mediterranean season runs from May to October, with the Côte d'Azur, Italy and the Greek islands at their best in June and September, when the water is warm and the harbours are quieter. The Caribbean runs from December to April, when the trade winds hold steady and the British Virgin Islands and the Grenadines offer protected anchorages day after day. Thailand and the Andaman Sea are at their finest between November and April, and the Red Sea and Arabian coast reward a longer voyage in the shoulder months.

If your dates are flexible, tell us so. We can often place you on a yacht that is already repositioning between grounds, which can mean a better rate, a longer itinerary or a cruising area you had not considered. Equally, if you have a fixed week in mind, early enquiry gives you the widest choice of vessels.
